The Burners

burnerInfraglo manufacture and assemble super efficient gas fired infra-red radiant burners suitable for both the OEM and replacement markets. The burners can be fitted in a wide range of proprietory process drying, heating and product finishing equipment.

The British made burners are designed and constructed to operate on all families of gases and will operate at all gas pressures. They are therefore suitable whatever the gas pressure and in whichever position you wish to fire the burner. - We guarantee it will work!

They are lightweight and easy to handle and install and are constructed of special cold rolled steel. Then they are coated in a veneer of glass by a high temperature vitreous enamelling process to enable them to withstand intense heat.

The vitreous steel burner does not rust or corrode and gives longer life then aluminised steel or stainless iron.

Single burners can be manufacture with ratings from 3kw to 19kw

The Process
  • wall burnerThe burners are used for a wide range of industrial processing including:
  • CATERING EQUIPMENT - grills, rotisseries, frying ranges, griddles, kebab machines, naan and pitta bread ovens, bainsmarie steamers and boiling units.
  • DRYING - animal foods, cereal and vegetable crops.
  • CURING - dry powder and wet paint coating applications including stove enamelling and vitreous enamel.
  • PLASTIC SHRINKWRAPPING
  • HEAT WALLS - textile, carpet and paper drying.
  • HEAT TREATMENT OVENS
  • ROAD LAYING PLANT - screeding and road planing
  • FORCED DRAUGHT INSTALLATIONS - fabrication and welding, pre-heating
  • CONSTRUCTION AND BUILDING INDUSTRIES - concrete and plaster drying, site heating
  • FOUNDRY MOULD AND CORE DRYING
The Standard and Supersaver Series Burners

Both the standard and super saver burners attain the same plaque temperature of up to 900 degrees Celsius and therefore both achieve the same radiant heat output. However, the supersaver uses 24% less gas to achieve its radiant output.

When converting from electric to gas, then even more impressive cost savings of up to 600-800% can be expected. Further efficiencies can be gained by incorporating an automatic ignition system, for the larger process applications. This eliminates the inefficient lighting of individual burners by gas pokers and allows burners to be shut down for meal breaks or line changes. The supersaver series can also show appreciable increases in product throughput as well as saving on running costs.

The standard and supersaver burners nay also be modified in length to give any rating from 3kw to 19kw and can be interchanged with both British and continental units.
