The
congregation of a beautiful 700 year old church have only
heartwarming praise for the six new gas fired infra-red space
heaters recently installed by Sheffield firm Infraglo at St
Swithun's in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.
Annie Johnson of the Parochial Church Council commented "Our
church dates back to the 13th century long before any effective
heating systems were introduced and it was certainly draughty.
So we selected six super saver overhead radiant heaters. We
were particularly impressed by their quiet operation and unobtrusive
presence. They were also incredibly effective and have a really
low running cost. Now we are full of parishioners with warm
hearts - and hands and feet too, all thanks to our friends
at Infraglo."
These space heaters are ideal for providing localised heating
and eliminating 'cold spots' which is often a problem in big,
old poorly insulated buildings. Virtually instantaneous heat
is supplied exactly where it is needed and just for the duration
required. This eliminates waste whilst maintaining optimum
conditions and comfort.
A wide range of heaters is available offering heat ratings
from 3 kw to 29 kw. Options include fully automated systems
suitable for control by timer, thermostat of proprietary energy
management systems.
